10/15

Just opened up a text from the Randy Edwards and saw a really cool picture, a tattoo featuring the words, All I ever wanted to be was an exaggeration of the truth. For those that don't know those are a few words of wisdom from Kirk Huffman of Kay Kay and his Weathered Underground. It made me think that that's all anyone really wants. Everyone has an idea of who they want to be or who they think they are which is usually a distorted version of the truth. I think happiness is when one can reconcile their own perception of self with the reality observable to everyone else. I as well have fancied myself in many way more glamorous predicaments than that guy who goes to school (sometimes) writes for the UP (sometimes) blogs on ctheds.com hangs out with guys in bands and works at a head shop, but, honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
